Many laws have evolved over time and had, at some point, a (more or less understandable) sense. Some today would probably attract the attention of law-abiding adherence more than the transgression. Especially the American law enforcement officials were so very inventive ;-)
Highways in Kentucky women may be entered only in a bathing suit when they are escorted by at least 2 police officers, or armed with a club have.

As bebadeanzugte woman on the highway seems to be more than likely. How good that the law enforcement has since taken precautions. What is interesting is the exceptions:
Weighs less than 90 or women over 200 pounds, or is it a female horse, does the law not in force.
Most such laws are (hopefully) no longer practiced or enststanden only isolated cases. Entertaining, they still remain ...
